My intergalactic-space hat goes off to Tor for getting ride of DRM. 
This is how you actually prevent Amazon from dominating the market: listen to your customers and deal with them directly. Let your readers enjoy what they have legally purchased on their favorite device and don’t allow Amazon to keep the corner on the market by way of the Kindle.
I hope it’s only a matter of time before Tor’s parent company MacMillan jumps on board.
